EvolveX Body Contouring in Burlington, Ontario

As you age, your body’s production of the proteins collagen and elastin decreases. These proteins keep your skin hydrated and firm, giving it a youthful appearance and ensuring that it doesn’t sag. When production decreases, skin laxity increases.

Although there are surgical options available, there are also non-invasive body contouring techniques that can deliver the results you want. At The MedSpa at Burlington Plastic Surgery, we offer EvolveX that can help tighten your skin, reduce fat and tone muscle all at once!

What is EvolveX?

EvolveX is a non-invasive body treatment that uses hands-free technology and radiofrequency to target skin laxity and encourage the production of collagen and elastin while reducing the number of fat cells in the treated area. EvolveX offers full-body contouring for people who are almost at their ideal weight but would like to tighten problem areas for a more toned look. EvolveX treatment requires a series of 20-45 minute sessions generally spaced about a week apart. Most people start with a series of 4-6 sessions. If you are interested in treating more than one area, a limited number of memberships are available.

Some of the areas that respond well to EvolveX include:

  • Abdomen
  • Arms
  • Thighs
  • Hips
  • Waist

EvolveX is the latest version of Evolve technology, offering more than skin tightening. It comes with different applicators to give you the results you want. The three EvolveX applicator types are listed below.

Evolve Tite

Evolve Tite uses radiofrequency energy to reach the subdermal layers and deliver heat at the optimal temperature to boost collagen and elastin production. Evolve Tite can correct sagging skin, making it tighter and smoother.

Evolve Transform

Evolve Transform focuses radiofrequency energy on the layers of both skin and fat under your skin. The radiofrequency energy not only tightens the skin by increasing collagen and elastic production, but also destroys fat through lipolysis. Once fat cells are destroyed, your body can eliminate them through your lymphatic system.

Evolve Transform can help reduce the appearance of cellulite and can give you a more toned look.

Evolve Tone

Evolve Tone can help tone specific muscle groups that may not be responding to exercise and dieting. This applicator uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to cause involuntary muscle contractions that help to tone the targeted muscles.

Best Candidates for EvolveX

The best candidates for EvolveX are also those who are close to reaching their ideal body weight but still struggle with pockets of fat or skin laxity in certain areas. EvolveX is perfect for targeting body fat that not even exercise can remove. It’s a suitable option for men and women of any skin type. Our ideal candidate is in general good health, is not pregnant, and is close to their ideal body weight.

If you are pregnant or have a body mass index over 30, this may not be the most effective treatment option as EvolveX is not a weight-loss treatment.

What Is the Procedure Like?

Because EvolveX is a non-invasive treatment, there’s little you have to do to prepare for your appointment. For the Evolve or EvolveX treatment, wear loose clothing. Once we place the applicator on the treatment area, you can relax and allow the radiofrequency to do the work. The entire procedure takes less than an hour.

There is no downtime with either Evoke or Evolve, so you can get back to your life immediately afterward. We do recommend you steer clear of activities that make you sweat and avoid hot baths, saunas, and steam baths for at least 24 hours.

Results

Some people start seeing results immediately after treatment, but most have to receive a few more sessions before seeing significant changes. During our first consultation, we will assess the treatment areas to give you an idea of the number of sessions you will need.

To maintain results, we recommend protecting your skin against the sun, since UV rays can break down collagen. We also recommend maintaining a healthy weight.

What is the Difference Between Coolsculpting and EvolveX?

Both CoolSculpting and EvolveX are non-invasive hands-free methods of reducing stubborn fat on the body. Coolsculpting targets fat only by freezing it through a process called cryolipolysis. However, EvolveX also uses radiofrequency energy to target and tighten skin laxity, as well as electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to tone muscles depending on your needs and desires. Your treatment can be tailored to the issues you want targeted.

The number of sessions could be more or less depending on size of area, amount of fat or skin laxity.
