FaceTite Treatments in Burlington, ON

If you rely on traditional skin tightening methods to reduce the signs of aging, you likely won’t gain the results you would like. While topical treatments aim to reduce facial folds and loose skin, the results are temporary. On the other hand, surgery is not an option for everyone due to the cost, extensive recovery period, and potential scarring. You may wonder what options you have left. Thankfully there is a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment option to reduce the signs of aging. At The MedSpa at Burlington Plastic Surgery, we offer InMode FaceTite. If you are looking for an effective solution for stubborn sagging, facial folds, and fine lines, we can help you. Call us to find out more about FaceTite, or visit us in Burlington, ON.

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that targets stubborn sagging skin and stubborn fat cells on your neck and face. It also addresses the loss of definition by enhancing your natural contours. As you age, your skin loses collagen and elastin. This results in the muscles beneath the surface of your skin stretching, creating droopy skin. The treatment uses radiofrequency energy to eliminate fat cells, tighten loose skin, enhance the natural contours of your face, and stimulate collagen production. FaceTite does not use any inorganic substances. Therefore, it is a low-risk treatment option.

We offer state-of-the-art cosmetic treatments, such as the FaceTite procedure. If you are considering this treatment, we are ready to answer all your questions about the preparation, procedure, and recovery of FaceTite. We will take care of you throughout your entire process to ensure a comfortable and successful experience. After all, knowing more about the treatment will put your mind at ease and help you make an informed decision.

How Does FaceTite Work?

Before the procedure begins, we administer an anesthetic to ensure minimal discomfort. Thereafter, a tiny access point is made in the skin of the target area with a medium-sized needle. A slender probe is inserted into this access point into the subcutaneous tissue where your fat and collagen can be found. Radiofrequency energy is then delivered with a process called Radiofrequency Assisted Lipolysis. The energy moves between the internal probe and an external electrode. This process slowly and safely heats the unwanted fat and soft tissue. The heat stimulates collagen production and kills fat cells. The result is firmer, healthier-looking skin.

Am I a Suitable Candidate For FaceTite?

If you are searching for a non-invasive procedure that will effectively address the signs of aging, FaceTite is perfect for you. Here are a few points that could make you more eligible for FaceTite

You are in your late thirties to early fifties.

You have started seeing mild to moderate signs of aging, such as sagging skin on your face and neck.

Have unwanted fat deposits in the jowls and under your chin with a loss of neck and jawline definition.

Have hard-to-reach areas of concern, such as nasolabial folds and malar bags.

You already had a facelift or neck lift and want to further treat that area.

Although FaceTite is suitable for most skin types and skin tones, it is best to schedule a consultation with us to determine how suitable you are for the treatment.

The Results of FaceTite

Because the treatment stimulates collagen and elastin and kills unwanted fat cells, the results you achieve with FaceTite will gradually become visible and continue to improve over time. While collagen and elastin levels increase, fat cells are removed by your body, and your skin begins to tighten. You will start to see results within 6-8 weeks after your FaceTite treatment. These results will continue to improve for up to nine months.

Because this procedure is minimally invasive, the recovery period is much less than other treatments. This means that you can get back to your daily routine within 3-4 days after your treatment. A healthy skincare routine, including daily SPF 30 or SPF 50 sunscreen, can enhance the duration and intensity of the results you gain with FaceTite.

FaceTite – The Recovery

The procedure and recovery period are both pain-free. You will be able to resume normal daily activities almost immediately after your treatment session, and you will be able to return to work within 3-4 days. We will change your dressing one day after treatment. While no long incisions or stitches are required, you are still recommended to avoid strenuous exercise for up to two weeks after treatment. You may also need to wear a compression garment for up to three days to hold your skin in place while it lifts and repositions.

What Areas Can FaceTite Treat?

Submental fat (under your chin)

Periorbital region (around your eyes, brows, and eyelids)

Nasolabial folds, also known as laugh lines (lines around your nose and mouth)
