Women’s Health Treatments
Whether you have had one or multiple pregnancies that have changed the way your vagina looks and feels or simply have noticed how the aging process has caused you to experience skin laxity, you have different options. There are minimally invasive options and non-invasive options, as well as surgical procedures that can improve the appearance and function of your vagina._________
Non-Invasive Options and Minimally Invasive Options
Plus90 (Votiva)
Plus90, also known as Votiva FormaV in the United States, is a non-surgical women’s health treatment that helps improve the function and appearance of the inside and outside of the vagina. This treatment used to be called Votiva, but now has a new name and still delivers some incredible results. It uses radiofrequency heat energy to increase the body’s collagen production during a virtually painless treatment. Those looking for a non-surgical way to improve the appearance and function of their vagina without having to worry about downtime make good candidates for this treatment.
Depending on your assessment and treatment goals, best results may involve a unique tailored approach with a combination of Plus90 and other minimally invasive treatments such as Morpheus8 and AccuTite to the labia minora or majora. Morpheus8 and AccuTite deliver additional radiofrequency energy deeper into the skin or under the skin to promote more collagen production for enhanced tightening of the skin or labia.
RF Microneedling with Morpheus8
Applying radiofrequency energy both internally and externally through microneedling provides a greater depth of penetration into the targeted cells for enhanced tightening effects. Topical anesthesia works well in these areas to allow for a comfortable treatment. Tightening of tissues around the vagina, urethra and labia can not only improve the appearance on the outside, it can also help with stress urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness and improve sexual function.AccuTite
Do you have skin laxity or loose tissue in your labia majora or labia minora? AccuTite could be the right treatment for you. The AccuTite procedure for labial tightening, similarly referred to as Aviva FemTite non-surgical labiaplasty in the United States, is a minimally invasive treatment that uses radiofrequency energy through a very fine cannula to tighten the tissues from above and just beneath the skin. The allows for greater tightening than non-invasive treatments can provide, without the large scars required with surgery. A consultation with Dr. Jessica Shih will determine which treatments are best suited for your needs and how these treatments can help you look and feel your best. The Treatment Goal: Vaginal Tightening and Labia Tightening
This treatment can address several different women’s health concerns. This treatment helps women address the visible signs of aging and how they have affected the appearance of the vagina. It can also strengthen the area to reverse the effects of the aging process or how pregnancy and vaginal births have affected the area. Regardless of your goals, our treatments will help you reach them post-treatment. Specifically, it can help treat and improve:- The unsatisfactory appearance of the vagina or labia
- Vaginal dryness
- Poor blood flow
- Skin laxity in various locations
- Poor sensitivity
- Stress Urinary Incontinence
How Does It Work?
Once we confirm that you are a good candidate for this treatment, we will schedule your appointment. For Plus90 treatments, we will use the device to deliver 360-degree pulses of warm, radiofrequency energy to your target area. The radiofrequency energy tightens the vagina by creating a controlled inflammatory response, which leads to increased collagen and elastin production.Increased collagen and elastin result in tighter, firmer, and visibly improved-looking skin. The entire treatment takes less than 30 minutes to complete based on your treatment goals, and you will be able to resume your normal daily activities.
If your treatment plan includes Morpheus8, a topical cream will be applied in advance of the procedure to maximize comfort. Both Plus90 and Morpheus8 requires a series of treatments, approximately a month apart, for optimal results.
AccuTite for labial tightening uses local anesthesia performed by the surgeon to freeze the area completely. This treatment usually requires a single treatment and can be performed at the same time as Plus90 or Morpheus8 internal or external treatments.
When Will I Notice Results?

Surgical Options
Labiaplasty
A labiaplasty is a procedure designed to make the labia smaller, tighter, and more aesthetically pleasing. It is a contouring procedure that reshapes the labia for cosmetic purposes, yet some women schedule this procedure to address large-sized labia that interfere with daily activities and sexual health. A large labia can cause pain and discomfort, reduce sensitivity during intercourse, and make wearing certain clothes uncomfortable. How Does a Labiaplasty Work?
During the procedure, you will be put under local or general anesthesia. Most women tolerate this procedure well under local anesthesia. If it is being performed along with another surgical procedure, then general anesthesia is usually recommended. Then, the surgeon will remove excess tissue to reshape the area and close the incisions using absorbable sutures. You will be provided with specific after care instructions. During your consultation, Dr. Jessica Shih will evaluate your areas of concern and develop a treatment plan that is right for you. What Kind of Recovery Can I Expect?
After undergoing labiaplasty, you will receive specific post-operative instructions including cleansing and icing the area. You should take it easy and avoid prolonged periods of sitting for the first one to two weeks. You will be advised to avoid strenuous exercise as well as inserting anything into the vagina for 4-6 weeks, depending on healing. You should avoid direct pressure to the area from bicycles or motorcycles for about 8 weeks. All of your questions will be answered at your consultation and pre-operative appointment.Monsplasty
A monsplasty is a surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the pubic area. It removes excess skin and fat that creates elevation on the pubic bone. Essentially, this procedure is a pubic contouring procedure. It is similar to a tummy tuck, only for your pubic region, and is also commonly referred to as a pubic lift. During the procedure, an incision will be made in the pubic area, and excess fat and tissue will be removed to reshape and contour the area. Liposuction of the mons area can also be performed to remove excess fat for a more aesthetically pleasing contour. What Kind of Results Can I Expect?
After your monsplasty procedure, you can enjoy a lifted, tighter pubic area. Your results are intended to be permanent so long as you avoid weight gain and do not plan on becoming pregnant following surgery. Additional pregnancies can alter your results. As long as you maintain a healthy diet, exercise consistently, and live a healthy life, you can expect to enjoy your results long-term.What Kind of Recovery Can I Expect?
After undergoing this procedure, you can expect to spend the first few days relaxing and recovering. The typical recovery is one to two weeks, but you will still have to adhere to the physical activity restrictions for two to six weeks post-operatively to ensure a healthy recovery._________
